New Gloucester Arts Network
Submitted by EllieFellers on Tue, 08/11/2009 - 08:57On June 30, 2009 New Gloucester Arts Network had its first meeting at the Vestry of the First Congregational Church in Lower Gloucester. The meeting brought together 20 interested participants to talk about the future of this new found group and set some goals and mission.
A delicious pot luck supper was in place thanks to chairman Betsey Leslie.

Betsey Leslie's "Ewes2You" studio at Running Brook Farm, 34 Jack Hall Rd. (926-3708), and Beth Acker at Ackers' Acres Angora, 359 Gloucester Hill Rd. (926-4921). Open Sat & Sun.
Shaker Bake Sale on Saturday as part of the Friends' weekend.

Horses as Healers and Teachers
Submitted by EllieFellers on Sun, 06/28/2009 - 14:04Kerry Loupe and Caroline Loupe of New Gloucester with Gena McGrath, owner of Springpoint Farm in Durham are offering two exciting workshops called "Horses as Healers and Teachers" on JUly 11/12 and August 7/8.
Each program is one full day workshop preceded by an evening program on the previous day and will be held at Springpoint Farm in Durham, ME.
