Maine Native American Summer Market and Demonstration

Native American artists from the Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Micmac and Maliseet tribes in Maine will demonstrate and sell their ash splint and sweetgrass basketry, etched birch bark vessels, stone sculpture and woodcarving. The sale and demonstration has been organized in conjunction with the Maine Indian Basketmakers Alliance and is supported in part by the Maine Arts Commission, the Maine Humanities Council and the Maine Community Foundation.
