Herb Garden Internships
June 2 - July 30 (garden work days continue into August if you choose to continue)
The internships are open to all who would like to learn about herb gardening or who would like to learn more about gardening, herb lore and creative herb uses. The internships run for eight weeks. The internships will be held twice a week. Interns will come either Tuesdays OR Thursdays. The morning garden sessions (perennial harvest, basil planting, lavender harvest, fertilizing annuals, etc.) run from 10 AM - 12 Noon. After lunch at the Girls' Shop the interns every other week will go to the Sisters' Shop for an herb project (take home kitchen garden, culinary herbal blends, lavender crafts, pesto, etc.) from 12:30 PM to 2 PM. Betsey-Ann Golon, our herbalist, workshop instructor, co-owner of Common Folk Farm, Naples, ME is the leader of the internships. Call Betsey for more details at (207) 787-2764.
