The monthly guided hikes will cover the Shaker fields, woods, Loon's Point on Sabbathday Lake and the footbridge over Aurelia's Cascade. Come every month and observe many seasonal changes in the flora and fauna. A mini lesson about Shaker history is included covering the 225 year plus history of this active community. Your guide is Carol Beyna, a trained naturalist. The hikes are offered twice on one day each month of our open months. The hikes are two-and-a-half hours long and begin at 10 AM and 1:30 PM. Wear sturdy footwear.
