Saturday

If you are around on Saturday, head up to the community garden at Opportunity Farm. The potatoes are up and we are using hay to hill them up on Saturday. If you are interested in planting a row for the hungry, there are seeds and plants available. Contact Laura Campbell at 926-5919.

Sunday

The New Gloucester Community Market is open on Sunday and hopes to provide live music from a local jazz trio. We’ll also be cooking up burgers. Bring a picnic lunch and camp out on the grass behind the vendors or bring chairs and dance to the music! Don’t forget we have fresh fish, wonderful steaks, and homemade breads and sweets for all your holiday party needs.

You may have noticed that Blockhouse Preschool had a fundraising booth at the market last week. They are back this week, so stop by and say hello. Along with a variety of homemade baked goodies, they are selling New Gloucester Community Market kids t-shirts for just $10 and get to keep half of the proceeds from each t-shirt sold. All colors, all sizes available.
