Shaker communities were growing and selling seed by the late 1700s here in America. You will visit the Shaker gardens and learn about early varieties, how to save seed and where to join seed swaps. You will leave class with heirloom seed catalogs, vegetable, flower and herb seeds, heirloom plants and a keener appreciation for our garden heritage.
