Gershwin! Shaker! Bloch! Mozart! Dvorak! An array of music that portrays the roots and traditions of American music. The fifth annual Maine Festival of American Music will take place at the 1794 Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village Meetinghouse. The members of the Portland String Quartet are the Festival directors and performers. Guest artists this year are renowned pianist and Gershwin expert Paul Posnak and soprano Christina Astrachan.
