Shaker Oval Box Workshop #2
Saturday, 10 AM - 3 PM; Instructor: Michael Graham
The trademark Shaker oval boxes were made in different sizes - sold individually as well as in nests of up to 15. Participants will make two boxes - #3 (7-1/2" x 5" x 2-3/4") and #4 (9" x 6" x 3-3/8") - using a "kit" (cherry and pine woods) that will be assembled, finished, painted or oiled. Attendance at Workshop #1 is NOT a prerequisite for taking Workshop #2. No woodworking experience necessary. Materials provided - fee includes kit.

Learn to Make Cheese at Pineland Farms!
When: Saturday, October 10, 2009 and Sunday, October 11, 2009
Cost: $275 per person
Registrations for this experience are accepted beginning Tuesday, September 15, 2009 on a first come, first serve basis.
Pineland Farms is now offering the unique experience of learning to make cheese with our Head Cheesemaker, Mark Whitney.
Come stay with us for the weekend, and in one of our six beautiful countryside Guest Houses*, while you learn the art of cheese making.
The McLures invite you to the Second Annual Family Hayride and Pumpkin Picking at Morgan Hill Farm, 44 Morgan Hill Rd. , 2-5 pm on October 10. (Raindate Oct. 17).
Pumpkin or gourd for children 10 and under (while they last). Snacks and drinks provided. All ages welcome! A free community event.
