Kerry Loupe and Caroline Loupe of New Gloucester with Gena McGrath, owner of Springpoint Farm in Durham are offering two exciting workshops called "Horses as Healers and Teachers" on JUly 11/12 and August 7/8.
Each program is one full day workshop preceded by an evening program on the previous day and will be held at Springpoint Farm in Durham, ME.

Saturday, July 11
9 AM - 12 Noon (session 1) OR 1 PM - 4 PM (session 2);
Instructor: Chris Becksvoort
Dovetails for beginners, as well as those who need a brush-up. The class will practice making through dovetails, starting with correct sawing methods, layout, chiseling, transfer and final fitting. Materials will be provided. Please bring a pencil, square, marking knife, T-bevel (or dovetail gauge), dovetail saw, chisels, mallet and clamps if you have them. Important Note: choose session 1 or session 2 when registering.

The Maine Music Society's 15th annual Garden & Home Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, rain or shine.
This year's fundraising tour consists of seven locations including seven gardens and one home interior.
Participants include:
The Garden of Gerry and Pam Hamann of New Gloucester. The garden was conceived 30 years ago as the owners lived in the basement of their new home.
Today, that is hard to believe. The brick cape is completely surrounded by cottage gardens, adding charm to the property.
