Herbs\, fruit\, vegetables and flowers in a garden that you create for your own needs. Betsey will share 35 years of experience using companion planting\, layering\, organic methods and raised bed gardening. Participants will leave with catalogs\, seeds\, soil recipes and herbs from the Shaker garden. Information on what to bring with you will be sent at registration.

Woodcarving for Beginners
Saturday\, 9 AM - 4 PM\; Instructor\: Norm Devonshire
Start a new hobby. Come and learn the basics of carving and go home with a finished carving. Norm will teach you the proper use of the knife including the types of cuts and how to sharpen the knife. Fee includes knife and carving block (wood).
